Nano ePrint Ltd has developed the world's simplest and fastest electronic devices (2.5THz for InGaAs) and fabricated high-speed, planar organic diodes and transistors (>20MHz) via a one-step nanolithographic manufacturing process.
This approach opens up the possibility of low-cost, high-performance printed electronics based on low-mobility semiconductors. Nanometric device features can be realised, with ease-of-alignment to additional layers due to the planar nature of the devices. In the future, we expect to provide the market with "medium" performance printed electronics, including printed UHF frequency electronic devices - this is a difficult challenge for conventional plastic electronics.
